Beautiful store. No safe spot for parking in front of the door. Road is regularly blocked. Small entrance door for people coming and going with carts.
Sobey's East Point, is a store that seems to have it all. A very large Produce section greets you on entry with a fantastic selection if fresh fruit and vegetables beautifully displayed. Following is the Meat and Fish section that that turns to a Deli area with a fantastic Cheese section.For the sweet tooth the bakery area is next that would entice anyone to break their diet.Turn the corner and you are in a health food area that turns into a pharmacy area.Next a Grocery Area with a selection of just about anything you would want for re-supplying your groceries for every taste.Enjoy your visit and yes there is a map available to help you out. The staff, selection, and cleanliness was awesome...however, I should have noticed that my chicken sandwich wrap was 2 days old..it was soggy and terrible. Great store though!
Best Sobeys in New Brunswick. Product quality and selection is great. Clean very clean; Employees are always cleaning. Staff is top notch, friendly and have a willingness to serve. Like all Sobeys stores when the front end is busy and getting lined up they open more lanes; they stop working in other departments and help out up front. Unlike other stores they understand when customers are done shopping they want to leave; this does not go unnoticed and has a big impact on why I shop Sobeys. Customer service is everything and they do it extremely well. Did I mention cleanliness....
The classiest Sobeys I've ever been inside of.The staff is very friendly and the checkouts are very fast. Not typically crowded, and the layout is great for getting your shopping done in a proper order (depending on what order you shop in).There's pictures of Jamie Oliver everywhere, so that's cool if you're into that sort of thing.As soon as you walk in, it looks nothing like a typical Sobeys, more like some sort of high-end market until you get out of the produce, cheese and butchery section.The prices are reasonable, probably about the same as every other Sobeys, despite it being much nicer.The bathrooms are very clean and in a convenient location next to the checkouts.The liquor store being next door is handy too, there's a pet store nearby as well, but there's actually a great little pet section in Sobeys that sells nice quality holistic food, litter, toys, etc. There's always something on sale for your pets too.The hot, ready-to-eat food is great and the drink selection directly across from it has a great variety and some new, oddball drinks I've never seen before.The only thing I haven't noticed is whether they serve coffee or not, but they have the cold, bottled coffee with the rest of the drinks if you're really craving done caffeine. (I don't care what you think, those Starbucks coffee things are a godsend)Great place to shop, it's a little more expensive than Superstore, but it's a far nicer experience, especially compared to the Superstore on Rothesay Avenue.Highly recommended.
