I really enjoyed the time my family spent here. We arrived early afternoon and that seemed like a good time to see active animals as many were being fed just then. Watching the lions receive lunch was a particular treat.Normally, the zoo accepts credit or debit cards, but the day I arrived it was cash only due to some tech problems. A small gift and snack shop is also available.

We love the Cherry Brook Zoo! It's quiet and the staff is always friendly. Things are a bit rundown because the zoo doesn't get the funding they deserve, but if it was bigger and newer it would be busier which would take away the best part. We saw the lions get fed and played with today. We could interact with the zoo keeper while she was doing her "show" and there was only a dozen people watching with us so everybody had an amazing view. You can't get up close and personal experiences like that at a larger zoo! The walk is beautiful around the zoo, great for everybody but expect rocks and bumps that could be annoying for people with mobility issues. Very reasonable entrance fees too.

We went to the Zoo today and my daughters loved it! We were pleasantly surprised with all the different animals and how friendly the staff is. We also got to see them feed the snow leopard. The animals all looked happy and content which is nice to see!

We had a wonderful guided tour of the zoo by 3and 1/2 year old Jacob. Who loves Cherry Brook Zoo.This was likely his 10th visit and he showed his Nanny, who was visiting the zoo for the first time in many years, all his favourites. For the first time we had a great look at the White Python , who is usually hiding behind the rocks. It's a perfect for children his age.

It's a good zoo, kids love it. As mentioned in other reviews some parts of the park are needing more upkeep but nothing feels dangerous. I love this zoo just for the small friendly vibe it has staff are great and the animals look content with their treatment. Would love to see the zoo get some funding from the city or something as I think it deserves it. We take our daughter there every year and she still loves it
