Just a statement of facts. I contacted King-Cole Harbour insurance for a quote on my motorcycle. It was a bit more than a competitor I had previously dealt with but I was willing to pay a bit more as the previous company hadn't handled my account fairly in the past. I went in and paid the insurance amount in full. 1 month later they contacted me asking me to stop in and pay an additional 16.00 as the policy amount had "changed" I contacted them and asked them if I could pay this the following year as to not have to make a special trip in and they said if I did not come in and pay it I would lose my insurance coverage after 30 days. I of course will go in and pay this 16.00 so as not to lose my insurance coverage but I thought others should know the level of unreasonableness I dealt with for something that was outside of my control. I know things can happen and pricing can change it is how it is dealt with that defines a company.
