Purchased a knife that I found a defect with the sheath. They refunded me promptly and took my name to make an order for me. That was months ago. Rating is not with the product, but the lack of promised followup.
I went in to the scout shop today to check out backpacks. The long haired guy with glasses told me that they had a sale. So I was checking out this bag. It fit my kid with room to grow. I asked about the total cost with taxes and discount, and at the register I was told that they couldn't honor the 30% sale tag on the bag. That was a tag that they forgot to remove at the end of September. They could only offer me 20%. I said I would think about it. I was told that they wouldn't be able to offer me the 20% that was quoted after today. I again said that I would think about it. As I looked around some more the guy came up and whispered to me that he would sell me the bag at 30%. I said no thank you and left the store. I will spend my money somewhere else. No thank you Scouts Canada and your corporate greed.
