I have never stayed in such a neglected room, specifically the bathroom. The shower head was broken, making showering extremely difficult and the temperature constantly changed on it's own. The sink faucet was also broken, requiring an aerator. The exhaust fan did not work. The tile had both black and pink mold in its grout. The environmental controls in the main room did not work, which explains the musty smell of the room. The tv remote was intermittent. The wall coat rack was coming loose from the wall with broken gyprock .
Dirty and dated but with spectacular views of the city and Bay.Dated in my option is fine as long as things are clean. The carpets could be vacuumed daily as it seemed as if they were not. They could also use a good thorough shampooing at least once a quarter. The walls in the bathroom could use some serious bleaching. The quality of the complementary breakfast buffet was disappointing... Worse than when I stayed there a year ago.

I hope they credited you two, sure was not up to Safety codes...I hope the rest of YOUR VACATION GOES WELL! MET SOME NICE PEOPLE! PHILIP YOUR PROFESSIONAL.BARBIE,DEBBIE AND LYDIA! HOPE I GOT THE NAMES RT? BARTENDERS/WAITRESSES AT THE FINEST! Pay raises 4 sure! Thank you Scott and John! Demo Man; very classy! I will hope to check that area out! I would only give half a star... Eric at front desk and Carol the supervisor should be fired on spot.. Eric was at work smoking at door way where me and my 6 month pregnant wife had to enter. As came back down to lobby they were arguing with a customer tell him he had to pay for a reservation that he had the day before even though they told him they had no rooms that they overbooked on them. Then tell him not to worry about paying for it cuz he works for Irving so he can afford it. The restaurant there food taste like garbage that it has been sitting around for days and the rooms are filthy and smell like old muskie carpet.. overall I would advise anybody to sleep in a tent in the side of the freeway before staying at this hotel
My room? Awesome. Service? Perfect. Changing the breakfast from a unique "pick your own complimentary breakfast" menu that was very different from most other hotels like it to a breakfast buffet of crappy scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, toast, apples and bananas to accommodate "the long lines" that only happen MAYBE once a week (I've stayed here MANY times, usually for over a week)??? THAT is absolute GARBAGE!!! I used to love going down to the restaurant for breakfast. Now? Forget it.
