Not fancy, but clean and very friendly service. My room had a new pillowtop Queen size bed that was really comfy! There was a fridge and microwave in the room, both working and clean. Free Wifi, and lots of cable channels, movies etc. I'll stay there again when going through Saint John as the prices were great and I didn't need anything more.
If you need an exfoliation, stay here... The towels will take a couple of layers of skin off. Upon check in, I was greeted by a man wearing a white wife beater and board shorts. The owner insisted on showing me 2 room options; neither better than the other aside from one extra window. Upon realizing that the units contained no A/C, I chose the 3 window room. While I was getting my things from my vehicle, the owner watched through the office window. Once inside the room, I noticed him wandering outside my room. It was seriously creepy. The room was stifling and I had to leave the windows open despite feeling unsafe. The beds were like rocks. The furniture resembled thrift store/flea market quality. The pillows were very thin and some of the sheets were stained but "clean" (smelled of bleach). There is no bath tub, only a small stand up shower. Traffic kept us up.... On the pro side, the room was basically clean, shower pressure starts off decent, and there is a newer LCD TV. Imo, though, if you can afford a few extra $$, stay elsewhere.
Good price, decent hotel, and super nice owner. Definitely reccomended if you need a place to stay just outside of St. John.

Needs a few modern touches for sure. Price was right for what we needed. Certainly in a quiet area.
