Happened to have a flat tire on the last day of a long weekend... they charged top rate, toilet did not work properly, flush was broken, room was shabby to say the least... the 2 bath towels were more like hand towels and no extras...I went down for 'complimentary breakfast' and they closed it down early.The room was well cleaned... but poorly maintained. The chair next to the bed stunk!! had to put a towel over it to sleep.I have always had pleasant stays at the Wyndham group facilities, but this was shameful... charged us 40% extra for a really crappy stay.
Rooms are a good size and it's easy to jump on the highway. We needed a suite and Saint John didn't have many options. Staff weren't overly friendly. Room was clean. Only one cart for luggage which was annoying. Nothing bad about this hotel, just nothing that sticks out other than value.
We arrived late at night and booked a suite just prior to arrival. Sheryl at the front desk was fantastic and so understanding despite the third party booking agent not having notified the hotel of the booking. The odd ant in the suite but clean and comfortable.
Spacious suite and large mini fridge were nice to have for travelling with children. Hotel was quite quiet most of the time. Overall, an expected experience from Travelodge.
This was by far one of my best hotel stays. The staff was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond. The room was the perfect size comma clean, and the hotel had a Pack n Play available for us in case we need it for our little one. Would definitely stay there again if I go back!
