Very friendly service, cozy room with a nice view. Good rates.The mini fridge was unusable due to being rancid. Needs a deep clean and to be kept open. Poor water pressure in the sink. Room was a bit smelly, might benefit from an essential oil diffuser or something. Wifi connection was weak.So, inexpensive motel run by caring folk. Would recommend.
Nice place...very steep driveway....not bad price wise if you don't want a hard bed...don't go here...bed are very hard...other than that friendly service...rooms not bad...clean
We had a very pleasant experience in our stay at this motel and I felt it was very much worth the money. As others have also noted, the owner is a very warm and accommodating man and he made myself and my family feel very welcome and safe. The room we were in was recently remodeled, very clean, and offered a nice view when we woke up in the morning. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay when passing through St. John.
Very basic room. Lots of noise from highway. But if you can sleep through it you're good. The owners are renovating. No air conditioning but the owner brought us a fan. They try hard to please.
The room is absolutely filthy :( and despite being pet friendly, we were scolded for not having made a special booking for a pet friendly room ( which was not an option online or mentioned), charged an extra 25$ and told to keep the dog off the bed. I don't know why it would matter since the room was way grosser than any dog I've met. Dissappointed but it is late and we have already moved in. EDIT: the owners we chatted with this morning are warm people.
